Bob and Kirsten joined our BCC family in summer 2006. Bob, as Head Wrangler, manages the horse program and oversees the wrangler summer staff while continuing to develop the Horsemanship Camp and Wrangler In Training (W.I.T.) programs. In recent years Bob has filled the role of Program Team Leader where he works closely with Youth Pastors and camp staff to achieve the best summer program possible. Prior to BCC, Bob spent ten years working at Springhill Camps in Evart, Michigan, eight of them as a full-time staff member.
Bob’s wife, Kirsten, is a stay-at-home mom to their three kids, Elley, Hannah, and Joseph. Kirsten earned a B.A. in Sociology at Hope College in Michigan. She worked as a wrangler at Springhill Camps for a number of years and then worked full-time running their camp store. When not wrangling the kids, Kirsten enjoys reading and making pottery.
Bob and Kirsten have a passion for building relationships with the summer staff and Arrowhead students as well as investing in the wranglers who serve our Horsemanship Campers.
