The Walker family first came to BCC the summer of 2015 when they were looking for a place to serve in the mountains as a family where young lives were being changed for Christ. They were called back to serve in 2016 and that is when the Lord made it clear they were to become part of the team here at BCC. They officially began October 1st, 2017.
Doug enjoys spending time with his bride and family, reaching the lost for Jesus, woodworking, metal working, farming, music, hiking, and hunting. “I have a huge passion for the family that is why we are here at BMCM where young lives are being changed to become world changers and difference makers. We pray they can grow up to be mighty men and women of God raising up godly families.” Joy has a passion for the lost and horses, she is a great encouragement to Doug and their family. They say behind every good man is a great woman, this rings true for the Walker family.
