“I had the most amazing experience being fully enveloped in camp over the Summer. I’d previously been a volunteer counselor so knew what it was like to attend BCC for a short time, like a camper would. But it was completely different to work behind the scenes being a part of the team that makes camp go round. It was more than just a fun time or Summer job. It was home.
And for the few months that camp was my home, I had the best family.❤️ Each day was centered around Christ and, while at times it was chaotic, I loved every minute of it. Not only did I grow spiritually, I got to be a part of something bigger than myself. Lives were changed forever at camp.

What started as a big leap of faith as a young man traveling across the country to work with people he had never met, became an extremely formative and inspiring season of new experiences and new family. “My time this summer working at BCC was one of the best and most fun summers I’ve had! Getting the experience to learn and build friendships with the other staff, as well as personally growing in my walk with God was an amazing experience that I’ll never forget.”
“Working at Beartooth was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Everyday was filled with fun, whether it was playing games, swimming in the pond, riding horses, or just cheering on campers.
One of my favorite parts was building friendships with both campers and staff. We made inside jokes, stayed up late telling stories, and encouraged one another. Camp wasn’t always easy. There were days we had a broken dishwasher or pouring rain, which made things frustrating, but God’s presence was always there, and you could feel it. The connections with people, the laughter, and the sense of community turned those frustrating days into some of the most memorable. During the rainiest day, we took trash bags and went sledding down the hill. When the dishwasher was being funny, we started singing Camp Rock songs while handwashing dishes!
God opened doors for me to share His love with others and to deepen relationships. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work at Beartooth this past summer.”

“This summer at Beartooth Christian Camp was truly life changing! I met so many amazing people, grew so much in my faith and trust in God, and learned how to serve others in a Christ-like manner.
I have no doubt that most of the friendships I made there will last a long time, whether it be with other camp staff members or volunteers, and I look forward to seeing how the camp continues to grow in love and wisdom in the future! As a horse camp counselor, I got to have a unique view into both the main camp and their partner, Beartooth Equine. With my fellow counselors, I saw the kids form deep friendships with each other, grow in their relationship with Christ, and form connections with the horses on a very impactful level.
Overall, my summer at Beartooth was amazing, and I’m proud to call all the wonderful staff there my friends!”

“I have been around Beartooth Christian camp for over a decade as a camper, but being on staff made my favorite place on earth even more special. Not only did I have a ton of fun doing something I love and serving the Lord, but I also made some incredible relationships with the other staff members.
In college you have 36 months to get to know people you will stay in touch with for a lifetime, but over the summer I was able to make lifetime relationships in only 3 months! Being on staff was a wonderful way to spend my summer and something I will look back on for the rest of my life!”

“My time at camp this past summer was beyond amazing. I’ve grown in more ways than one, I have grown just as a person as well as in my relationship with Christ. “I served at Beartooth Christian camp this summer as a horse camp counselor. I could not have imagined how many ways the Lord would grow me through this experience. I was blessed to share the love of Christ with 10-14 girls weekly.
The Lord encouraged me and strengthened me through a wonderful crew who lead devotionals with me, prayed and listened to me. Whether it was a hard or easy week, I always saw God moving and at work in the hearts of the campers. I saw Him, also, at work, when I would hear a camper put their trust in Christ or deciding to walk faithfully with Him.
BCC is doing the Great Commission beautifully and biblically by making new disciples in the campers. BCC will forever be in my heart and my prayers.”
