Located in the heart of the Beartooth Mountains, Beartooth Christian Camp (BCC) has been serving people for over 40 years. There are a number of positions that BCC is hiring for the summer of 2022.  Those positions can be found below along with descriptions for each.  The team at BCC is incredibly unique in how it operates more like a family than it does a business.  Everyone has a job to do and is trusted to do it with excellence. Gary Adams, BCC’s Executive Director, has the biggest heart for Jesus, for people, and for camp, and has created a team built around prayer, trust, and Jesus.

REQUIREMENTS
*  Must be 18 years of age or older (before starting employment) and have your own transportation.
*  You’re responsible to provide your own meals on the weekends. Camp provides meals Mon. – Fri.
*  Preferred employment dates are May 15 – Aug. 15, depending on your school schedule.  This is negotiable based on your school end and start dates.
*  Salary is $4,000 for 13 weeks of service.  Compensation includes salary, housing, meals (when campers are present), and a life changing experience.

SUMMER STAFF POSITIONS

There are a number of positions available for summer 2022.  Feel free to peruse the list of positions below to see which opportunity is the right one for you. Property-Maintenance Assistant
NOTE: We are hiring 2 people for this role.
1.  Serve alongside of and directly answer to our property and Maintenance Director.
2.  Spend the summer mowing, running the weedeater, and setting sprinklers for the grass and flower beds.
3.  Help with irrigating the horse pasture.
4.  Keep the director aware of any needed supplies to order.
5.  Assist with keeping all equipment clean and in good working order.
6.  Help with any needed maintenance projects on repairs around camp.
7.  Oversee emptying all exterior trash cans into the dumpsters when needed.
8.  Assist with any tree or shrub trimming
9.  General cleanup around camp property.
10.  Serve at camp where needed, when not doing property and maintenance  – IE:  Serving meals in kitchen.

Camp Nurse
1.  As the camp nurse, you will provide basic Healthcare for the campers and staff.
2.  Serve alongside of and directly answer to our office managers.
3.  Requirements- you must be a current nursing student or RN certification provided.
4.  Collect and record all medications when campers check-in on their first day.
5.  Distribute daily medications to campers.
6.  At weeks end, distribute all medications back to campers.
7.  Record and document all incidents and accidents – and contacting office managers of said incidents and accidents.
REQUIREMENTS
*  Must be 18 years of age or older (before starting employment) and have your own transportation.
* Must be an RN, or a current student in nursing school, and have certification for CPR, Basic First Aid, and AED.
*  You’re responsible to provide your own meals on the weekends. Camp provides meals Mon. – Fri.
*  Preferred employment dates are May 15 – Aug. 15, depending on your school schedule.  This is negotiable based on your school end and start dates.
*  Salary is $4,000 for 13 weeks of service.  Compensation includes salary, housing, meals (when campers are present), and a life changing experience.
Housekeeping Lead
1.  Serve alongside of and directly answer to the office managers.
2.  Do daily checks of all restrooms and showers.
3.  Re-supply needed paper products and soaps.
4.  Daily cleaning of all restrooms and showers..
5.  Let office staff know when to order supplies.
6.  Empty all trash within cabins, restrooms, multi-use buildings, etc.  (All exterior trash cans are to be emptied by property crew).
7.  Oversee the week ends cleaning teams (IE: Friday morning), and report to office managers when each building is cleaned, in order to release the campers or guest groups.

8.  Serve at camp where needed, when not cleaning g (IE: Serving meals in the kitchen).

REQUIREMENTS
*  Must be 18 years of age or older (before starting employment) and have your own transportation.

Lead Lifeguard
1.  Serve alongside of and directly answer to our Internship Director.
2.  Guard the waterfront during swim times.
3.  Cleaning the waterfront (cleaning up trash, life jackets, and all equipment) and keeping the storage equipment shed clean and organized.
4.  Manage the water safety regulations.
5.  Be involved in summer staff community and support camp programs.
6.  Oversee and manage all volunteers, lifeguards, and aquatic observers.
7.  Serve at camp where needed, when not lifeguarding (IE: Serving meals in Kitchen).
8.  You are required to be fully certified as a lifeguard, and provide certification in CPR & First Aid.

9.  In the event of an accident or incident, you are required to immediately contact the camp nurse, so she can file a report.
