Q: How many positions are available for 2025 summer staff?

Q: What positions will be available for 2025 summer staff?
A: Facilities, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Social Media/Office, Trading Post, Adventure Elements, Waterfront and Horse Camp Counselors
Q: What is the difference between being a volunteer and being on summer staff?
A: Volunteers typically only come and serve 1 or 2 weeks at a time and do not receive any compensation… Summer Staff come and stay most of the summer and will receive a weekly stipend.
Q: What dates should I expect to work over the 2025 summer?
A: May 22nd through August 17th (*There will be opportunities to both start earlier and stay longer for those who desire to do so*)
Q: What happens if I can’t be at camp on those dates?
A: We will work with each summer staff on the dates they are available to begin and end. We understand that schools end and begin differently at different places.
Q: Would I get paid?
A: Each position will receive a weekly stipend that will be paid out every two weeks. Food and housing will also be provided for the summer.
Q: Will there be staff training?
A: Yes, summer staff training will start the evening of May 22nd and run through the first two weeks of staff arrival. (Staff will be expected to participate in all aspects of training)
Q: What should I bring to camp?
A. See the following:
- Bible and Notebook
- Camp-appropriate clothes (no short shorts, short skirts, or bikinis please) – Our weather is all over the place, so bring summer clothes, a hoodie/sweatshirt, rain jacket, etc.
- Comfortable shoes (At least 1 pair of closed-toe shoes and 1 pair of shoes that can get muddy or messed up)
- Toiletries (Toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, etc.)
- Pillow and bedding
- White noise maker or fan if needed to help you sleep better.
- Sun-screen and bug spray
- Sunglasses
- Snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic). A fridge is available in staff housing.
- Absolutely NO firearms, NO alcoholic beverages, NO drugs, and NO tobacco products (including any vape products)
Q: Do I need to have my own vehicle?
A: No, it is not necessary to have your own vehicle. There will be several options available for transportation needs.
