Todd Alexander
We are so excited to be bringing in a NEW pastor for this week of family camp! Here’s a message from Todd so you can get to know him a little bit:
“Heather and I have been together for nearly 30 years and Jesus has been at the center since day one.
I began in youth ministry over 35 years ago, and when Heather and I met and began dating, God called both of us to youth ministry while we were at a College Student Camp in New Mexico.
We came to live in Post Falls Idaho ten years ago responding to a call to be youth pastors at Starr Road Baptist Church in Otis Orchards Washington. Mission trips, Bible studies, community service, overnighters, serving in soup kitchens, and baptisms drove our passion and our excitement!
I was called to be the lead pastor 4 years ago and I have been blessed with some amazing leaders who I serve and minister with.
God called our church to start a Celebrate Recovery ministry 2 years ago and the blessings of that ministry have been nothing short of miraculous. I have an absolute passion and drive to help people who are struggling with hurts, habits and hangups.
Heather and I have two Children, Carissa and Caleb. Carissa and her husband Tobias just welcomed their first son, TJ, into the world and Heather and I are so excited to be first time grandparents!
Heather and I enjoy being outdoors! Camping, Kayaking, Fishing, Hiking with our Kids and our four-legged Maverick, who is the energizer bunny in Labrador form.”
